Week Plur.

Firstly, why does no one leave me comments on the blog! Interaction please. Comments please, lots of them. Thank you Chuck for your involvement in my psychoanalysis journey into the wilderness.

Secondly. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Waltzing was fun fun fun! Love it, love it, love it! Harold is an absolute genius (the choreographer/ dance extraordinaire!) He can make you seem like you are a dance pro even though you have no idea what you are doing. He can pick me up, twirl me in the air on his little pinky, oh it’s fabulous! I absolutely loved today’s rehearsal! I felt as if I had reconnected with my ol’ pal Thomasina and Septimus and I had found a real connection and interaction that we did not have before. Now, our waltzing was not perfect, we can do a basic waltz step but it’s the traveling around the room that confuses Adam and I. The graceful waltz that should sweep across the stage suddenly turns into a sort of hodge podge of tripping over one another and swearing. But I am sure we will get there. We have plenty of time to become amazing and with Harold’s direction and coaching I am sure that I will soon be able to enter dance competitions and make millions from my waltz.

Sunday was to be our first run through of the entire play. I was slightly nervous but also very excited to see the whole thing come together again. I thought that it went amazingly well and it was a pleasure and a treat to get to watch all those scenes from the present day that us 1800 lot had never seen. In fact I thought it went fabulously well. I would not say well enough to open with that would be going a little bit too far and I probably would wet myself from fright if that was the case. However, we are in a good place!

Can I just take this moment to say how privileged I feel to work with such an amazing and talented cast as this one. No, I truly mean it. I would like to take this time to admit I feel a bit like a sore thumb in the midst of all this talent. As this is my first professional production since graduating college I feel as if I am winging it a bit. I just think, wow. I have this amazing opportunity and job and all of these wonderful people have put their trust in me even though they do not even know me. Thank you. There, now the soppy bit is over. I have all these nice things to say about everyone but I feel if I express my respect on this public blog it would be like (quote Tony James –British actor and one of my hero’s) wanking on stage. SO, just know that everyone is fabulous and we have a fabulous director and crew working with us.

Mr Luckey, please may I remind you that you have to be careful in what you say to me as I am very encouragable and sometimes do outlandish things that I should not. All you do is encourage me and then i look like the complete nutter when really it is you that is the nut job. In fact I am going to write a whole blog devoted to this issue entitled "Adam Lucky is encouragable'.

Mummy, I am ever so sorry. I will not bloody swear ever again... That was Septimus' fault... he is my tutor and taught me that naughty word.

Love to all and all to love!

XxX

Yes, I knew about mine. I didn't know about yours. Gotta announce these things. I would have expected you to, being so narcissistic and all.

You better be careful or I'll ask that comedian we saw at the TV studio yesterday to sit on you. But he'll tell you a few jokes, so it won't be quite as bad.

Darling, you know you must remind Mummy to look at the blog. I am quite forgetful in my old age.

What a thrill it is to see the experience of putting together this show through your eyes. I must concur on the talented director and cast. Ave is a a true master at finding the perfect persons to "click and deliver" no matter the subject matter or script! I am quite eagerly anticipating the opening of this show and the reaction of audience members. My greatest hope is that our audience will be so engaged in what we have presented, that they feel the need to come back, see the show again, and delve further into Mr. Stoppard's creation.

Finally, do not let me catch you swearing while waltzing. It is not lady-like, and I will not have it!
