October 13
Tech starts today. Cyburbia Productions and Scott Sherman and his crew of vampires (and I say that in the nicest way) have been living in the theatre space for the past three days getting things prepared. Ashley is getting her crew organized from the backstage angle and actors come in tonight to get familiar with the space and for an extensive fight call with Gina. Truthfully, I don’t know what to expect. I’m along for the ride and I’m ready to be patient. It will give me a chance to gather my thoughts, observe and study the space, and run it all in my head.
I’ve been living in a pretty serene place in my head for the past few weeks. I am finding myself to be pretty calm and reasonable these days. I don’t think I’ve become neurotic or self obsessive, or a babbling wreck. I take this as a good sign. Of course, this is all before tech begins. I’m preparing myself for some long, long days and nights ahead, and so far, my necessaries are embarked.

Wade through that one and you’ll understand where we are all coming from.
